Roaring Brook Camp for Boys

For over 50 years, Roaring Brook Camp has specialized in providing instruction in outdoor sports and outdoor skills, Vermont crafts and backpack/canoe trips. A 650-acre forest preserve with 15 acre private lake provides a pristine setting for boys wanting a fun and exciting camp experience. Turtle Lane Art and Nature camp is a relaxed, fun-filled summertime experience that offers hands-on experiences and games, crafts, and lots of time outdoors, for children ages 3 to 8. Each week has a different nature theme: earth, air, sun, and water. It runs July 5-29, 9 am – 3pm with before and aftercare, and a half-day option for 3 to 5-year-olds. For kids, a summer week can last so much longer than the days it encompasses. Every moment of a Raised Jay camp will stay with your son or daughter forever. From the first paddle of a kayak to the 18th hole, your Raised Jayer will experience hiking, ice skating, surfing, golf, kayaking, fishing, tie-dye, outdoor survival skills and, most importantly, the simple, free feeling of being a careless kid in the summer. These camps might last from Monday to Friday, but the moments only grow larger every day thereafter. day camp for children ages 6-12. Each session is five days long (Monday to Friday) from 9am to 4pm and limited to 25 campers.
CAMP BHC is a one week camp offered twice during the summer for local kids. This year our full day camp experience begins with Session 1 on June 20th and Session 2 on June 27th. For more info: Camp BHC. Kids Camp is divided into three groups: Ages 3-5 are Champs Camp, ages 6-8 are the Harbormates and ages 9-12 are the Explorers. Comprised of three parts – morning camp, afternoon activities, and evening dinner events – the program is filled with fun. The daily children’s program is available from late June through Labor Day.

“University of Possibilities” Wingspan Summer Camps! Art, Nature, French Adventures Await! Wingspan Studio’s summer camps offer creative, rich, interdisciplinary weeks to choose from. We use the visual arts as a lens to explore varied themes each week from Wizards/Faeries to French language to Star Wars to Math to Architecture to Animals and yes, to Scooby Doo and legos too! At the Junior Golf Academy run by Steve Gonsalves of Gonzo’s Sports, your child will receive instruction from their award winning PGA Professional Staff. 5-Day Junior Camps (Open To Ages 8-14) will be offered throughout the Summer. Each camper will receive a Kwiniaska/Gonzos hat and tee, unlimited range balls, golf each day on the 18 hole Championship Golf Course. There will be a fun Tournament at the end of the week. Beverages and snacks provided throughout the camp and lunch provided daily. Max number of kids is 24 per week, lending an 8:1 ratio of PGA Professionals to Junior Golfers.

Kids yoga training for ages 5-18! Nike Yoga Camps brings a robust, youth yoga camp to the shores of beautiful Lake Champlain in South Burlington, VT. Open to kids of all skill sets, camp will focus on a specific theme and pose each day and cover a wide range of activities from basic pose sequences, yoga games, strength and conditioning techniques, discussions on sport injury prevention, and fun arts and crafts. Cooking & Sailing Camp with Lake Champlain Community Sailing Center: This week-long camp offers adventures both indoors and out! Campers will start their day embarking on a variety of culinary pursuits in the Healthy Living Learning Center with Clarina and Brian, where they’ll chop, stir, sauté, boil, mix, and bake their way through several recipes each day. After finishing the morning off with a tasty lunch, they’re off to the water to spend the afternoon with Lake Champlin Community Sailing Center and learn fundamental skills for sailing small boats on Lake Champlain!
